Eva Palace, Grecotel Luxury Resort

Incredible holiday - but moderate fitness level required We have just spent a week at the gorgeous Eva Palace and have loved every second of it. The hotel is a real slice of the good life and all of the staff are wonderful. We traveled with our 21 month old and the staff were so generous and attentive to her. I would say, that for older children, there isn’t a huge amount to do in terms of “activities” as this is a quiet and relaxed environment. Perfect up to the age of 4 or so - then maybe if they want more adventure or party vibes, this wouldn’t be the one to choose. A few reviews mentioned slow service, wasps and flies etc. Our experience has not reflected those, service has been great and quick (with the exception of the beach bar, which could have done with an extra waiter). We weren’t bothered with wasps or flies, a few about but nothing really notable & definitely not something we were bothered by. The return sea shuttle to Corfu town was an incredible day, €25pp was well worth it for the experience and ease. We were exceptionally pleased at the WhatsApp service the hotel provides, anything we wanted to know or needed we could do via messages - which is a god send when you don’t want to keep going to reception. A big thing to note though is that this hotel is not accessible for wheelchairs or anyone who is in poor health/fitness as you need to go up and down a lot of uneven steps to get to the pool / main hotel / beach. The buffet restaurants were good, not always great but that’s to be expected with buffets. The lunch buffet could have done with a little better variety but it was still good. We ate at the Stick and Sushi restaurant one evening and it was 10/10 delicious. Overall, I would definitely return for a truly relaxing holiday and the staff were amazing.
