Meandros Village

Getting to the complex is pretty straight-forward. It’s also pretty close to the shoreline and central village square. There are lovely village houses, as well as other vacation homes and similar complexes nearby. There are 3 outdoor barbeques that you can take advantage of. Our company of ~20 people certainly did! Right next to 2 of the barbeques there are several solid tables where you can start serving immediately. There is enough space between the buildings of the complex for some nice trees and bushes, as well as for kids to run and play. Most rooms are on the 1st floor, with rooms on the second being the more expensive ones – primarily because of the huge balcony for ~10 people that each 2nd floor room has. There is a supermarket 3 minutes away by foot. Another one is 10 minutes away. There is a well-stocked Lidl store right outside the village – approx. 20 minutes by foot or 3 minutes by car. The complex uses solar-powered water heating so if you happen to come across cloudy days, you may be left without hot water. Not to worry though – you can notify the host and he’s turn on the central water heating. The host and his family live in one of the buildings of the complex so you have access to him or his wife for questions and requests pretty much the entire time. My only downside was about the bathrooms – they could have been just a bit more cleaner/renovated, but there aren’t any major problems with them.
