I couldn't ask for a better resort. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out it was pure relaxation. Directly on the beach and close to the downtown, the location is perfect. Our entire stay was just perfect. Wether you just want to hang out at the small but nice beach, sit by the pool, or take part in the numerous activities that are available, you will enjoy yourself. The grounds are kept very nicely and it's enjoyable to just wander around the grounds and take in the beauty of the flora. There are numerous dining oportunities offered at the resort, so you'll not get bored with the same food options. Although the resort itself is fantastic, you're close enough to walk downtown and get a bite to eat or sit for some drinks. 
The staff are great, friendly, competent, and professional. It's not cheap, but you honestly get way more than you pay for. I've stayed at other places in Crete, but I'll never stay anywhere but the Creta Maris for now on.

Dream vacation

Th system would not let me input when I was actually there-which was for a combined business trip and honeymoon in late April 2001.  Since my work was already sending me to the Creta Maris, we decided to make it our honeymoon.  We had one of the beautiful bungalows. The Creta Maris is everything all the reviews say it is-a gorgeous little village all in itself with incredible hospitality. It is even more special to me though, because while there I became pregnant with my first child. In honor of the event, her middle name is Maris. She just turned 16 and told me she hoped to go to the Creta Maris one day, which prompted me to look it up on-line.  I hope that I can take her there some day. The pictures reminded me so much of how beautiful it was and is.

Wonderful business trip and honeymoon

My work held a conference at this gorgeous hotel in Crete. The staff were incredible with the families, there was entertainment and so much to do! And not to mention the buffet!!! Every meal had amazing food. And the hotel has everything you need! Private/public pools, non stop food, stores, restaurants, bars, on the beach activities, excursions...they have it all. 
I’d go back in a second! Gosh I still miss that place. 

A year later...and I still miss this place

I was here for a week with my wife and daughter. Good food, good air, friendly people.
Every day you can see beach, seagulls and fishs was swept up. 
And in nice day, you can see sunrise and sunset, sky is purple color - very b beautiful...
