Trinity Villas

There are so many good things to say about these villas but also a couple of negatives. I'll start with the positives. The villa we stayed in was gorgeous. The private pool right outside the door was well used and the view from the villa allowed us to see the sunset every night. The owner was very helpful and even picked us up from the village square when we got lost getting there, even though it was approaching midnight. A basket of fruit and a bottle of red and white wine awaited us. The villa was cleaned thoroughly every 2 days. Only a 10 minute walk into the village Square (2 minute drive) where there are about half a dozen restaurants which double up as bars. A 15/20 minute walk takes you to Almyrida where there is a strip of numerous restaurants which also double up as bars. This suited us as a middle aged couple but younger folks may struggle as there are no clubs as such and the town appears to close about midnight. Now the negatives. We had no WIFI for 5 days due to cables needing replaced. A major inconvenience for us but the problem was eventually fixed. The owner has 4 dogs,(she also lives in a 5th villa on site) of which a couple are allowed to roam at leisure, all day, around the villas where we were sunbathing. There are no gates separating the 4 villas so the dogs can wander through them all. Not too much of a problem until we noticed the dogs urinating 4 times where we were sunbathing. I don't know how many times they would have done this when we were not there. The owner was made aware of this but didn't seem to stop it happening. One of the dog's also barked non stop for about an hour most mornings from 7.30 am so a lie in was not always possible. The owner was also not there when we checked out and we were unsure where to leave the key. It would have been nice of her to approach us before we left. Finally, the owner may want to install cable TV as only about 5 of the 40 odd channels work and they were of course in Greek. The only one English channel was very sporadic. All in all though a fantastic stay but definitely a few changes need to be addressed as mentioned. The language barrier made this difficult to address these in person.
