We recently stopped here as a family of 3, this was my and my sons first time at Sofia Apartments while my wife visited 24 years ago with her family as a child. It as just how she remember it!! We were made to feel extremely welcome, the hotel isn’t large and is run by the same family. It was fantasist for my wife to reminisce and make memories with her own family. The pool was fabulous and our son spent every day in it and was most refreshing when it was mid 30’s. The hotel is excellent value for money and clean and situated away from the main town of Chania and is peaceful. Chania is accessible by bus for a couple of euros per person and run frequently. Within the local vicinity there are various bars and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals with lots of choice. The hotel offer a selection of drinks and either pizza or toasties while around the pool. We will be back and can’t wait to return. We would highly recommend Sofia Apartments for either a weeks holiday or even for a few days if travelling around the island.
