221 reviewsAfter much research, we choose Monte Vardia, and are so glad we did! Sisters Christina & Elena went above and beyond to ensure our family of 6 (from 15 to 85 years old) were well taken care of at all times. The rooms were perfect for our needs (family room to singles) inclusive of balconies all around, the pool area wonderful for lazy afternoons, and an incredible views! And further bonus, the food was great - a comprehensive breakfast selection, lunch by the pool, and the restaurant Gems - which we ate at 3 of the 4 nights - included excellent options, from yummy salads, pizzas and pastas, to amazing Family recipe specials. We did not have a car for this part of our stay, but getting taxi's about was easy with Christina and Elena's help as well as their many other recommendations on things to do and where to eat in the area and further afield in Crete. We are already planning our next visit - thank you Elena and Christina!
