The Green Ranch

The Green Ranch might not be the easiest to reach, but it's worth it. Its very quiet and relaxing there with the most beautiful view of the lake. Even though your not directly at the lake, there is a small and secluded access to it. The lodge offers tasty vegetarian meals for a very reasonable price. The rooms are also very beautiful and the rates are in cedis. If you have a ensuite room it might be useful to know that the bathroom is only separate from the sleeping area with a curtain. They offer some activities, foremost horse riding which is quite unique in Ghana. The owner is very hospital and they really do their best to ensure you have a nice stay there. Of course you still get the odd side-eye from some staff. Overall I can recommend a stay here, as they are really dedicated to the environment and eco-tourism isn't just an excuse for high prices as in many other lodges in Ghana.
