When we decided to go visit the Harz mountains area we wanted a city centrally located and within that city an hotel not too far from the train station. The hotel was everything we needed, decent rooms, decent breakfast, clean. In addition we also wanted an hotel not too far from the train station. As we wanted to travel throughout the area fast we used the regular train lines but we, of course, also experienced the Harz railway, really a great experience.
