The Huettensteiner Hotel is located on the northern road to Sonneberg. It is located a short distance from the city centre, several kilometres from the centre. It is mainly a hotel for passers-by. It is a hotel built during the Soviet period, the rooms are large and very spacious. There is a very large parking lot. In the morning, the service remains very good, breakfast remains very generous and the tables remain very well provided. The rooms remain a little cold in winter. It is a very nice hotel with all the amenities possible.

During a hunting trip my hunting friends and I visited this hotel. All in all we were very satisfied with the very spacious rooms. Everything clean, no technical defects, quiet, balcony/terrace. Pleasant guest rooms, unfortunately the service (services) and kitchen inflexible. Typical, country-specific food offer.

We felt super relaxed. The reception was very friendly, everything was explained. The rooms were clean, the terrain was super clean and the breakfast was very rich. Extra requests were fulfilled without charge. Sauna, solarium, small fitness centre are in the house.

We stayed in Thuringia for two nights on a tour with several motorcyclists. My overall conclusion: I felt very comfortable there. You've been driving to the hotel for several years, and you've been keeping it on a good standard from day one, spacious rooms, good location, very friendly staff, and really good fine cuisine at a fair price.

The corners are a little dusty;-) otherwise clean, wireless - you had to stay in the hallway and have a very nice conversation with the other hotel guests. This would definitely have to be optimized. The windows have no curtain to darken. The breakfast is sufficient - nothing special. There is a large parking space. In the hallway there is smoke. Unfortunately, this mist also moves up to the upper room, since the doors to the staircase house are always open. Does that have to be?
