Excellent location, clean, everything you need for a trip to Europa Park and Rulantica

Great stay, nice spacious room and perfect shower! Very close to the EP hotels and a 20min walk to the park entrance.

Excellent choice visiting Europa Park. We stayed in apartment 2 for the weekend during summertime.  Spacious and clean property   The beds were comfortable. There is also a large patio with a garden view which we were able to enjoy.  Drinks in the fridge are fairly priced. We did not use the kitchen as we went out to eat at the Europa park hotel restaurants (which are walking distance).Pension Vanii does serve a nice European breakfast for an additional 8 euros a person/day (time of writing).There is an park entrance in short walking distance of Pension Vanii (Spanish area).  But it's reserved for Europa park Hotel guests. Leaving the park through there was not a issue but to enter you need to use the main entrance.  It's like 20 minutes walk but it saves you the parking fee !Staff was correct and polite. Check in is only till 8 PM. I was clearly informed about this, but still found it a bit stressful since traffic is hard to predict and we had a to  drive a while.Suggestion maybe : safety box outside were you can pick up the key in case someone doesn't make it on time.The only minor thing with apartment 2 was that the side windows are blocked by another building (probably added on later).. But we did not find this disturbing since we spent most of the time on the patio.  I don't think the other apartments have this issue..I would recommend this property and would also stay here againThanks a lot !

We stayed for 3 nights in an apartment of Pension Vanii. The property wasn't hugely easy for our GPS to find, being on a small quiet side road. That was our issue, not that of the property, who had sent us a clear map. We parked directly outside the property, and popped next door to reception. We were greeted in a friendly and helpful fashion by Mr Heinrich Ditmar whose English was faultless. He took us to our apartment on the top floor of the apartment building. There was no lift ( but you wouldn’t expect one!)
There was an unoverlooked balcony/ terrace, two good size bedrooms, a kitchen with eating table and chairs as well as a toilet and shower room. The bedrooms each had a TV, although we found no English speaking channels, which didn’t matter to us in the slightest. The beds were comfortable. Bed linen was supplied, as were towels. 
 The kitchen had a decent fridge, with some drinks in it allowing it to be used as a minibar. Also a two-ring hob and microwave. The sink had washing up liquid, sponge, teatowel etc.
All rooms had the usual German door/windows that could be closed, opened fully or opened with the top moving into the room but the bottom retained to allow ventilation.
There was no maid service, but we didn’t expect such aservice, and the rooms were very easy to keep clean.
Location: it was very close to the Europa Park hotel exit, maybe 4-5 mins walk. There was a route to the main entrance of the Park, but we didn’t use this. It would have been maybe 15 mins walk from the Pension. Close by was Edeka supermarket on a fairly main road, and walking along this road for about 10 mins took you to town centre where there were lots of restaurants. We walked this once and drove it twice as we were tired after a day in the park. On one evening we found every restaurant full until a Greek restaurant took pity on us and put us onto a reserved table. I’d advise reserving beforehand if possible, or eating a bit later after the main flush of people had gone..
Back to the Apartment: there was a second apartment on the top floor with a balcony, and it could have been noisy. However the “rules” asked people to come in at 10 pm to stop keeping other guests awake, and they did just that. We needed the door/windows open due to the heat.
Breakfast was served in the pleasant basement breakfast room. A typical German buffet, with coffee, tea, chocolate, juices, meat, cheeses eggs etc. The usual excellent bread rolls. Helpful young lady serving drinks etc.
Staying at the Pension did involve paying the local Tourist Tax, and this gave us an exit token from the Europa Park’s car park for one day, which was useful and saved us money

This is the perfect family accomodation at Europa Park. Spacious, clean, confortable and with all conveniences you need for a family. The location is amazing, just next to the park and the restaurants. Super breakfast.

Paulas fantastic Pasta and service made this a new favourite for us. With a view well worth the drive up the mountain and both the staff and the owner joined us for dinner.
