16 reviewsJust finished a wonderful stay at Haus Zauner, a clearly newly renovated place with uniquely Bavarian furnishings and oh so clean. We had a balcony to sit on where we enjoyed some beers from a shared fridge on our floor where you can drink what you want and pay when you leave. Love that honor system! Bed was great. Comforters thick and comfy, bathroom small but brand new. Towels very small. There was a tv but for you English news junkies, no English channels (one of the room's better features IMHO) The best part was our hostess whose English is impeccable and who was so helpful with restaurant recommendations, hiking suggestions. A card that got us free swimming and parking etc. Breakfast was the nicest on our trip so far. She asked of our preferences and had everything ready. Then brought some delicious boiled eggs. Everything was super fresh and then to top it all off she offered some plastic bags so we could take what we didn't eat as lunch. Location is within walking distance of town, parking in front of the hotel, door is to the right of the building. Cash payment only but the price was very right
