Hardi's Hotel

My wife and I spent the night here. From the outside the massive Bavarian house looks traditional, which it is, however, on the inside the rooms are modern, clean, simple and comfortable. Our room on the second floor was a corner with a huge wrap around deck, which comes equipped with chairs to sit and watch the weather roll in. Our bed was comfortable, soft and the sheets crisp. The bathroom is very modern with a pedestal sink. The shower door is like the old barnyard style which sadly was not balanced correctly and so it does not close 100% when showering meaning the floor got wet. Towels and a hairdryer are available but no toiletries so make sure to pack your own soap , shampoo and what ever. Breakfast was served 8:00am to 10:30. The staff at check in and check out were very friendly and unknowingly until 10 minutes into a conversation over breakfast with appeared to be two guests were we chatting to the owner. He was very friendly and engaging and we could have spoken to him for ages , but for our need to hit the road. Although we came down at 10:00am and all the hot food was gone, the staff asked if they could make us any eggs or anything which was exceptional. We declined as the ample fruit, cereal, eggs and bread was more than enough. This hotel was great. Relaxed , with a family run vibe , great location and free wifi too. Great place to sleep and relax on your travels.
