For four weeks, I booked the business apartment instead of the home office. I was very satisfied. The team was always helpful and friendly. The apartment was very clean. Very good wool. The surroundings are charming, a few small restaurants and shopping nearby.

DO NOT pay this guy a deposit. When it comes to him paying it back. He will site financial difficulties, then just stops answering your calls. 
He has been reported to Frankfurt police. Who are investigating my case along with everybody else's who has stayed.

Crook should be in prison

When I first arrived at this flat I was just off a 16 hour flight from Japan.  Stephan did not have a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung for me, nor was my name on the bell for the flat.  He said he would take care of both of these the next day, as well as get the lights in the living room replaced as two were burnt out.  I was very tired, so I agreed.
 
After settling into the flat, I noticed that the door to the shower was off, and was just left standing in the shower as a free-standing pane of glass propped up against the wall.  This is very obviously an unsafe situation, so I told Mr. Advani about it the next day and he said he would take care of it.  I also told him that there was no internet connection (as specified in the contract), but received no reply.  I also noticed that the mattress and linens were absolutely disgusting, so much so that I had to go and get my own sheets and pillows. 
 
Over the next few weeks, a very strange and upsetting thing happened; multiple times, a person who had no right to be in my flat opened the door with a key and started to come in.  When I made noise they apologized and left, but obviously it is very alarming for strangers to have a key to your flat.  Initially I thought they might be working in the building, but after checking Trip Advisor, I see that this is an ongoing problem with this property; apparently all of the keys fit every door in the building.  As a result of this previous tenants have had their personal belongings stolen from their flat.  This is obviously completely unacceptable, and given that this is publicly viewable on Trip Advisor I find it hard to believe that Mr. Advani does not know of this unsafe situation.
 
Over the 24 days that I stayed in the flat I wrote to Mr. Advani no fewer than 7 times to ask whether the shower was getting fixed, and once more to ask about the residency form.  Every time he told me it was just about to be taken care of (or words to that effect), and every time that turned out not to be true.  Then he contacted me via WhatsApp to demand that I submit rent immediately, to an account other than the one specified on our rental contract.  That payment was not due until several days later, but I was unwilling to pay into an account that was not on my contract anyway.
 
Finally I did something I should have done before booking the flat; I googled Stephan Arun Advani and Sopolitan Apartments.  I found that my experiences both with the flat and with Mr. Advani were entirely typical, both at this property and others.

Having finally seen these I realized three things: first, that the people coming into my flat with keys were not necessarily cleaning or maintenance people and my belongings and possibly my safety were in danger.  Second, the odds of Mr. Advani fixing the dangerous shower situation were effectively zero, and his continued misrepresentation of the status of repairs was typical for him.  Finally, the odds of me getting my deposit back without legal action were also basically zero.  

In summary this is a disgusting flat managed by the most unethical absentee landlord I have ever encountered.  Avoid at all costs.

Unsafe, dirty, and run by a man who lies constantly

We have rented a flat for one month and he promised to give the advance back in a week and never returned quoting financial problems. He will not answer calls or messages. If you want to lose your money. book this flat.

Cheating owner

From the very beginning, agreements and promises were not kept, nothing worked and nothing can be relied on. The keys fit into all the doors of the apartment: therefore no security!! The bail is NOT given back and the landlord Stefan Advani escapes any conversation! Absolutely not honest and terribly deceitful.!!! Very bad.

It's a false hoax! Never live with Sopolitan!

Pls carefully consider this before renting an apartment from this website: my rented apartment in Höchst shared a key with my neighbor (same key could open both doors), my bathroom ceiling collapsed, and the landlord has neither reimbursed me for the period unliveable nor given me my deposit back. That was 3 months ago (Dec 2018) since I moved out and he has stopped answering emails or calls from my agent.

Pls think twice before renting

If you want to get cheated and fooled you can book this apartment. The guy Stefan A Advani is a complete cheater and he will loot your belongings as well. Never book it here especially with your family and loved ones. 

You will get disappointed to the core.
