This is a real find Considering that these are holiday apartments they are more like a home from home. We wanted a base from which we could visit this part of Germany and we really landed on our feet. There were four of us in the party so we booked two apartments. We were allocated apartments 1 and 2. Our apartment, number 1, was split over two floors, the bedroom was upstairs with the lounge, kitchen, dining area and bathroom at street level. The apartments were so well equipped that you might as well have been in your own home. They were well maintained and the bed was very comfortable A parking space was made available to us which was a bonus. There were also bikes available at no extra charge. But it got better. On the key ring to your apartment is another little key which lets you into the wine cellar, where each apartment is allocated its own wine cellar, stocked with red, white and rose wines of the area as well as fizzy water. Simply help yourself and pay at the end of the stay. Average price for a bottle was € 4 – 5 for a really good wine. Fantastic. The other thing worth mentioning which really stands out is the fact that at the time of our visit the local bakery was closed for the holidays, so the owners went out of their way to ensure that we had fresh bread rolls every morning. That is truly amazing service.
