Firstly, the Erekle II Hotel isn't really a hotel. It's more of a guesthouse - rooms are delightfully mad in their decor and our room was large with a huge balcony and an amazing view. The rooms aren't like a hotel in that there aren't plug sockets next to the bed or tea and coffee etc. But it works as a nice place to sleep and shower. The only issue is that in the Khaketian heat a lack of fan or AC made the rooms a bit warm at night but not unbearable. It was perfectly clean and staff were helpful mainly communicating over whatsapp and Google Translate. Great value room in a great location.

You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Tbilisi Holy Trinity Cathedral, Rike Park and Anchiskhati Basilica.

At the hotel

Spend an evening in a nice atmosphere of the bar. Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. You won’t be bored as at the hotel you will find a barbeque area.
