157 reviewsMy granddaughter and I just spent 8 nights at this wonderful place, located on the southern part of the island, away from the touristy places. It was so quiet, peaceful and lovely. There were days throughout the week where we had the place to ourselves as we went in the off season. We kayaked and snorkeled in the amazing lagoon. The owner and staff were the most friendly, helpful and wonderful people I have met on my travels. I am actually going to miss them all. By staying there, with locals and away from the touristy areas (if you can really say Moorea is touristy at all as it doesn't feel that way anywhere you go) we felt like we really got to be in Polynesia. We rented a car from the Guest House, which was amazingly easy for one day. When we needed to go to the market and didn't have the car they made it very easy for us to get there and also offered to pick stuff up for us if they were going. They also offered and drove us to the Lagoonarium instead of having to pay for a cab or rent the car again. When we left we felt like we were leaving friends. It is a wonderful small, private, quiet place to relax and melt all of your problems away. I would go back in a heartbeat.
