Convenient for the slopes, comfortable and friendly.

Stayed here with my girlfriend over Christmas, the hosts and owners were all lovely and made us feel very welcome. 

The food was great and the hosts worked hard to accommodate the children of a family who were also staying there with their dietary requirements.  

The tv room is great and there's a good selection of movies.

There's a "cave" in the basement that has all the stuff to service your board or skis too. 

The train upto les arcs is about a five minute walk away and the supermarket is about the same, there's also a laundrette in there. There are a few shops around the chalet to wander round too.

Overall I'd recommend chill chalet to my friends but it's suitable for most people from families to couples.

Just un front of the railway station, you can choose a diferent place to ski every day.

I would definitly recommand it 
Perfect place if you want to ski at Tignes, les Arcs, la plagne ou val d'Isère !!!

Stayed 3 days at Chill Chalet, and it really felt like home.  Our bedroom was on the small side, especially as an extra mattress was fitted in on the floor, but it didnt matter as the common areas are so large.  Rooms were clean and comfortable, food was good and atmosphere really friendly and relaxed.  Only negative point, not much room to dry ski clothes - but then it did snow/rain all day when we were there and we did get particularly wet!

Only stayed a couple of nights at Chill Chalet but found it to be very convenient for both the town and the Funicular, the chalet itself was very cosy and Hanne and Peter were very welcoming. Hanne also put on a lovely breakfast each morning and both were knowledgable and informative about the local area.

We will definitely stay again should we be in Bourg St Maurice

Great little find!

Somewhere you feel welcome

The accommodation is basic but comfortable andquite and  there was a good  breakfast  . Bathrooms are shared but there is one on each of the 3 floors so no big waits . There is also a nice shared living room  with Apple TV.    The chalet hosts are  from England and Finland were particularly friendly and very helpful as far as the skiing was concerned . They also did the cooking , evening meals were provided on occasions.  The chalet is opposit the mainline train station and a 10 minute walk to the ski train which takes you up to Les Arc 1600 and contary to what you might have read you can be up the mountain and skiing within 30 minutes. However because it does take 10 minutes to walk to the ski train from the chalet I would recommend storing your Skis at the top of of the SKi train where ski storage is excellent. Dont forget to try Val D'Isere while your in Bourg, the bus which leaves early in the morning from  outside the main train station takes about 50 minutes. 
So just to summarize  the accomodation is all you really need to get a comfortable good nights sleep and its well placed particularly if you arrive by train and  dont have a car, but want to visit other resorts .
