An impressive conversion of a substantial old wine storehouse, at the heart of the medieval village of Pomerols, just 10 minutes from the Mediterranean, and surrounded by vineyards, the perfect location. A private pool, comfortable accommodation - although you will need the air con in August as it can get very hot at night (we slept outside by the pool on the first night). Richard is very friendly and helpful, although conversation in English is limited, so do try out your French. 5 minutes drive away is the charming and fashionable fishing port of Marseillan, with a range of excellent restaurants and bars.
