Excellently priced; excellently placed ( for European travellers so close to the hub airport of Glisy -just 23 miles distant) for others, central to so much of interest and, within 2 hours of Paris. The 3 individual rooms, situated away from the house, are quiet, tranquil and so very,very charmingly decorated. As a B&B this property cannot be faulted. We could rave about the cleanliness, the comfort, the breakfast - in a delightfully appointed, separate breakfast room - the dinner - great regional food, so reasonably priced and home cooked by a hostess with a generous hand who knows just how; and with a husband who is a marvellous,convivial host, you have again - just excellence! English is limited, but within the fun of mutual communication, no problem. The charm of the rural setting, the surrounding areas - and from Les Charmilles so many important historically and just simply beautiful places can be accessed so readily, all within a radius ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours, make this a perfect base. Explore the solemn region of the Somme for instance, then return to comfort and hospitality at the end of a long day - and just revel in it! We sincerely thank the family for their personalized attention, they made us both feel more than paying guests!
