Château de Bertichères

Chateau de Berticheres is only an hour outside of Paris even less straight from the airport and for anyone seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life this is an absolute must. The grounds are beautiful and the landscape is breathtaking and coming from New York I truly appreciate the history, the castle and its land, you really feel how special it is. The staff are courteous and kind. My room was very spacious and I loved the decor and it had all the amenities one would require for comfort. I did not take for granted how unique an experience it is to fall asleep in an actual castle. I loved seeing the horses from the Equestrian club roaming around and I don't play golf but I almost wish I did so I could have enjoyed the course. I would definitely recommend this as a trip for couples and families alike, or even on your own as I was. I would love to oneway come back with a group of friends for a party or wedding as I can see it would cater well to the event. Happy Travels!
