Du Vignoble

Hotel is fine and coffee is very good, but how is it that hotels charge over the posted rack rate for a room?   Bed was comfortable, good restaurant just across the road, terrasse for beer and coffees.  All very pleasant except the booking.com rate was €10 over the posted  tariff for the month.

Nice and clean room.
Nice owners/managers.
A little bit noisy (rooms are not well insulated).
Decent brekfast.
Owned by Domaine Montemagni (cellar is next-door).
Good value for money.

Although it lies 7 km from BAstia it is a nice Hotel with a good restaurant. The rooms and bathroom are big and clean. Friendly staff and good to make trips to the beach or for making trips in the mountans.

Good room, but over “rack rate” charges

Pleasant Hotel

Very good

Okay but somewhat peculiar hotel, less then 15 minutes by car from the pretty village of St Florin with many restaurants.

No elevator.
Spacious room with nice view on winefields, good beds and 2 metal straight chairs without cushions (not very comfortable).
Strange that at 9 pm the staff leaves the hotel, closes the front door and switches off the lights in the lounge (which is hence unusable after 9 pm!)

Average hotel close to pleasant St Florin

My wife and I stayed one night at this hotel in September, 2015.  Negatives were single beds for couples, and the lack of bathroom accoutrements (hair dryer, shampoo, wash cloth, kleenex tissues).  Our room was otherwise clean and functional.  There was not much interest in guests by the hotel staff, but they were otherwise cordial and did their job.  The wifi was poor--for a connection, one had to stand or sit in the stairwell.  The room price did not include even a minimal breakfast.  For an extra 8 euros, the price seemed extravagant for what was offered.

Okay, but not a memorable hotel

It is a cheat! We have booked this property through booking.com from 8 - 9/8/2018 at least a month ahead but 2 hours before our arrival the owner of the hotel changed the reservation stating we can stay only one night. Clearly this greedy lady just overbooked the hotel or got an offer for longer stay. She even lied to us arguing that she sent an email showing us some paper with stupid excuse with no date and sign. Certainly I never received such email though I use booking.com very often and all contacts are included in my account. Believe me when you book Du Vinoble hotel as a wine lover you dont want to spend two nights in another hotel on parking lot with a small child where she directed us to. I can only advise you: watch out: this is a house of greed.
