Great! We spent one night at Mrs. and Mr. Basso-Moro's house and it was magical. Our rooms were beautiful with lots of seals. Very very clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and very clean. The dinner (divin) and breakfast were wonderful. Normal with a chef a Michelin star. Besides, we shared the table with two other couples which turned out to be very friendly and very pleasant. Everything was perfect from the very beginning. Kindness, attention and advice, we really feel at home very quickly. We're going to come back very quickly and we're going to recommend this wonderful guest house. Thank you very much, Mrs. and Mr. Basso-Moro.

We came here to celebrate amongst friends and already we can’t wait to go back!  Cathy & Pierre gave us such a warm welcome to their beautiful home.  This house is truly magical and must not be missed.  From the roaring fireplace for pre-dinner drinks, the vegetarian menu (thank you) as only a top chef can compose, to the quiet night followed by a generous breakfast, well all was simply perfection.  Thank you both for the wonderful moment.


Absolutely magical

I really dont want to tell anyone about this place. Its incredibly perfect. We turned the lights off and there was nothing, absolutely no noise, no lights. Ive never had such a fabulous nights sleep. Now the food. F\rom a Michelin starred Chef, theres not much more to add. If you dont have any food allergies, you are in for a fabulous ride. What a great, great place to stay. I will definitely stay again, of that there is no doubt. The wonderful service, how you are made to relax, well, you just wont get a place better thn this. Their dog, Diego is a real character, but please dont go here, I want it all for myself!

Absolutely Perfect place to unwind

The building is imposing; the place inspires tranquility. For this second stay in the Shadow, we have a certainty. The definition of luxury can be declined in this beautiful place. The luxury mentioned is not the one who could bling bling, it is not the luxury that consists of displaying himself with the latest SUV 4x4 with its vulgar hippopotamus air, to mark his social success... Not the real luxury mentioned, it is for example a few people taking a place in the garden for dinner, watching the setting sun on the surrounding mountain, hearing the flight of a buzzard, followed by the attentive gaze of Diego... was when the meal and the cooking of the dishes will begin, and then we will go to the delicious, or luxurious, or luxurious, or luxurious, or luxurious, and we can say that this is a very good moment.

What if...?

The reception, the house, the room, the table (he didn't lose his hand) all are sources of pleasure, serenity and delicacy! It is a delicious place where you are received by wonderful people! No need to be English, Belgian or German, come to the neighborhood and you will see how Nans under Saint Anne is conducive to walks and landscaping!

A pure happiness!

We enjoyed spending the night in a beautiful, quiet coconut room with a soft bed...a large and pleasant shower room. The delicious dinner served under the tunnel delighted us with its original and high-quality dishes. The breakfast with its excellent bread, jams, local wineries, cheese makes it difficult to leave this moment in front of such a serene, green and pleasant panorama.

Exceptional

Over time this place has become our source for recharging our batteries. It's impossible to spend 3 months without staying there for at least 2 nights. Cathie and Pierre have a sense of welcome far above normal. A kindness and professionalism rare these days. Here everything is done to make us feel at home and the departure is always with a pinch in the heart.

It's a must.

The hostess put us in a charming little living room with wood fire and relaxing music, and as we were alone she put us back in a room above. We did not have the opportunity to dine at the table of her husband, the former chef. But we promised to come back in the spring to enjoy his kitchen.

That's wonderful!

My room (like the others I could see) was ultra cosy, tastefully decorated, and all I needed was a very good bedding, very soft Linvosges toilet towels, quality soap and shampoo, a hair dryer, a wifi that works well despite this mountainous area, mineral water, coffee, tea and little biscuits in the room so that patients can enjoy dinner. And dinner! a treat in the kitchen from the entrance (it was mossmeline from the bathroom), and the ladies had little snacks and snacks, but the chef asked me if this was a wonderful meal, and if it was possible, if it was a wonderful meal, and if it was possible, if it was a wonderful meal.

Cathie was the host and Pierre Chef de cuisine at the Hôtel Relais and Château de Germigney in the Jura. They united their destiny in a superb guest room in the Shadow of the Château, a former farmhouse that depended on the Château Mirabeau. An imposing building by the thickness of its walls, beautifully restored, in the small Frankish village of Nans Sous-Saint Anne. The large living room with the imposing fireplace, classical music in silk, and the paintings of Madame d'une grande delicatesse... the comments will be at the unison of an excellent hotel, which we will always be happy to help you to fill up with the pleasant moments in the life of the Château de Bordeaux.
