Nice Place for families, tidy. We had a beautiful time there. Ready good Restaurant for a fair price.

We booked this online the day before arriving.  We travelled in a VW t4 with awning and the pitch was a good size for us.  The toilet and washing facilities were lovely and clean.  It has a nice clean pool with 2 seperate slides which kept the charente entertained alongside the table tennis table.  There is what seems to be quite a popular restaurant on site but we didn't have time to use.  The staff onside are very friendly. There is a supermarket 2mins drive away and we went to Lac Kruth for swimming and paddleboarding, which was 10minutes drive, and also got to watch the Tour de Femme.  We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Friendly campsite

Very friendly, lovely people

Rented one of their log cabins for a week with my children. First thing is owner took meter reading of electrics and left us to it. Quality and repair of quilts was terrible with rips etc but our own covers disguised them for use. Site has people living on it all year round so not just a holiday site! Swimming pool was good except there is no lobby for shoes so its either leave them out in the rain or inside on main floor.... Cabin was under a tree so noise on the roof in the rain was terrible!! Owners were grumpy and on leaving tried to way over charge for electrics - had to insist on going back to cabin with owner to show them that the number they wrote down for use was totally incorrect- I was right and no sorry etc just given bill and pay now!!!!

Very poor

We booked a week at this campsite but left after 2 nights due to problems. We couldn't get a refund, and the owner didn't seem interested in hearing why. On the upside, our kids enjoyed the pool and trampoline. However, the bathrooms were not clean, and things were broken. Our spot also smelled bad. To sum it up, our short stay was not good. I suggest this place only for a quick 1 to 2-night stop on your way somewhere else. Hope this helps others.

Bad experience

This is a small and quiet campsite with clean facilities and a fair location. It’s major downside is the rude and unfriendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel unwelcome. If you’re British give this one a miss as they clearly aren’t wanting to welcome you. Even another group of French campers noticed how unpleasant they were and came to apologise for their countryman’s behaviour. The restaurant refused to serve us on both occasions we tried to eat there advising they were ‘full’, they weren’t, and the wine tasting gentleman, whilst happy to take our money for a case wine, ridiculed us through the evening and re-drew the raffle when our ticket was pulled. If you’re German or French I’m sure you’ll have a great time but from anywhere else, find a different campsite.

Unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Pitch 1 - very noisy if they have a disco on. Children also use this pitch as a shortcut to the play area either on foot or bike. Owner was not bothered when we complained, even though I was told pitch is quiet.
