As a frequent traveller from the UK to Lyon on business. Following a recommendation of a work colleague who lives in the area , we decided to spend an evening away from the corporate hustle and bustle of the City , to spend a night at Auberge Les Tables du Ban. And we weren't disappointed, what a gem. A beautiful building set in its own idyllic grounds , with spectacular hillside views looking down on Lyon . We were able to sit on its very well appointed patio areas and gardens and just savour the tranquillity this location has to offer after a busy day. Our host could not be faulted, his knowledge of wine and and the food that was prepared for us was excellent , being locally sourced and prepared . Having had a wonderful evening in great company and feeling totally relaxed , then to be able to retire to perfectly clean and comfortable bedroom that forms part of the main building rounded off a perfect stay and will be back without question.
