Camping Le Lac des Varennes

This was one of our favorite stops on our sightseeing trip of France, even with the fact that I became really unwell and I thought I would have to return to the UK. But with help from the kind lady on reception and the english girl who works there. They arranged for the medical help I needed, also letting us to stay longer at the campsite, until I got myself well enough to continue on with our journey. Ment our holiday was saved, I was very grateful to them. Now to the campsite, it's a lovely clean campsite with good facilities, plus its in a good location to visit many places. There is a pretty lake where you can fish, it has a man made beach and even though not too hot, i did see some brave swimmers. At the top of the lake is a smaller 2nd laundry room, a bar that also makes yummy pizza's and a play area. My only grumble is the campsite which is a good size and seems to be split into 2 halves, has only one rubbish bin. Which is located at the far end of the campsite, near where the static caravans are. It's quite a hike with rubbish bags and really need another one at the other end where the majority of the touring vans are. Saying that, I'd would def stay here again
