Hotel Restaurant la Place

In my opinion, the quality price ratio is correct. This is a decent hotel, nothing fancy but decent. And I had the best of times at their terrace. I was there for my job and was working on some emails on the terrace (decent wifi, by the way) when the locals came for a drink, actually a lot of drinks. Are you here because of the large explosion in the nuclear power plant yesterday? Isn't that the best welcoming opening sentence ever? Well maybe not, if you really are on a holiday and weren't aware of the fact that there's a nuclear power plant 3km down the road. I suspect that in that case your wife would glance at the children first and then gave you the look you fear the most:"you're not going to get lucky tonight." Anyway, I had the best of times with the locals, the owners are genuinely friendly. Ah, I almost forgot, there are 3 restaurants at walking distance at the shores of the Rhone, they were all closed. I did mention the fact that they were all closed and later on I got served a delicious meal. Not that I asked, they just noticed. That's what I call personal service. Highly recommended if you don't mind nuclear power plants which most tourists don't cause they don't know, they are everywhere in tourist areas in France but very well hidden. I don't think that anyone who visits the castle of Chambord or the gorge d'Ardeche think about explosions in nuclear power plants, they should. So don't hesitate, it's a fine hotel and a beautiful area to visit.
