Lovely property, nice breakfast, really nice staff too! I loved the stay here.

The whole place was superb - inside and out - the common area was very good and contained everything one could need

Everything was fantastic from the warm welcome , fabulous room, gorgeous pool and amazing breakfast. Such a relaxing experience.  Great opportunities to walk along canal or walk to the river. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The whole stay was a brilliant experience. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and the common area with fridges and honesty bar serving local beer and wine was really convenient. 

Most unexpected was the outdoor space which included a lovely terrace, swimming pool of full height depth, and luxury hot tub. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and we had a lovely stay

we stayed at le petit nancay on June 3rd 2020 on our repatriation drive back to the UK.The hotel was clean and very well appointed, the owners paid attention to the COVID rules and were still able to make our stay very enjoyable.
Michele cooked us a fabulous evening meal, and Clemence was on hand to ensure we were properly looked after.

Hidden gem and perfect for 1/2 nights stop over enroure.They do offer dinner if you book in advance which hotels.com didn’t advertise.Rooms are very spacious and only a fridge missing although there are fridges In the common room.The family are very welcoming

Friendly family run B&B, the rooms we had were amazing with a common room to use with kitchen dining facilities.Breakfast was good and we stayed for a homemade evening meal which was excellent!With swimming pool, hot tub & ping pong couldn’t have asked for more.Highly recommend

This is the 2nd time that we have stayed at this hotel.  This time we were in the main building - it was a lovely room with a seating area and a bedroom area with a lovely bathroom and an exceptionally large shower. Decor is beautiful.

We booked evening meals for our  2 night stay - the food is excellent and the wine/beer is also very good (extra charge for meals, wine and beer).  A tip - there are no restaurants in the area that are within walking distance.  There are facilities to prepare your own food if you want to.

Breakfast is also of a very high standard with plenty of choice. 

Hosts are extremely lovely people.

A real find for an overnight or few days stay with spacious rooms and pool

Little gem in the heart of france

Fantastic accommodation - with lovely hosts

We stayed here for just one night on our way down to the south of France and cannot recommend it enough! A beautiful, tranquil spot in beautiful old farm buildings.

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, spoke excellent English, and couldn’t have been more helpful.

The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The gite had a well equipped kitchen but we’d highly recommend reserving dinner. Michelle’s cooking was fabulous (and I’m usually a fussy eater!) and all homemade.

The jacuzzi was lovely too after a long day of driving.

We just wish we’d been staying longer!

Faultless accommodation with fantastic hosts and great food - highly recommend

After a long hot car journey what could be more pleasant than a warm welcome a glass of wine and a dip in the pool and this is what we got. Best overnight stop. We ate our delicious evening meal, cooked by the owner in the garden and our breakfast was served in the old farmhouse which is 200 years old. We stayed in an a large apartment in what used to be the cowshed. Very comfortable stay. We would most definately book again when we return to the area.

Great find particularly as an alternative to the chain hotels in Vierzon.  If approaching from the south ignore GPS when it tells you to leave A20 about 30 km before Vierzon (unless you fancy a 30 km cross country trip). Very easy to access from Vierzon. Our room comprised kitchen, bedroom area and seating area with TV plus toilet and bathroom.

Travelling from Bordeaux to Paris and needed to stop.
Picked this road as lots of real rural France to see.
This place is just outside of Vierzon and is in a quaint old rural town with rooms refurbished inside an old farm building dating back to 1500's.
Rooms are large,comfortable and so full of character.
The proprietor is one of the nicest people we have met in all our world travels and was sincerely kind and helpful.
He prepared breakfast at a very reasonable cost and it was delicious.
A rare gem.

Lucky find

Whilst in France, did a detour to return to Le Petit Nancay. We were not disappointed apart from the weather!! Wonderful hosts as ever .The kitchen units had been updated since our last visit and a Hot tub/Jacuzzi installed. Just wish all similar establishments were of this standard in France.  We had the evening meal, we had prebooked, and spent the evening with a delightful couple on their way home to Ireland. Thank you once again, Michelle and Clement for a lovely two night stay.

Return Visit

We found Le Petit Nancay after searching for a stop mid way on our journey home and we're pleased with our find.

We had a lovely welcome from Michelle and were settled in quickly.  Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we felt very comfortable.  Our room was over two levels and we had our own sitting area.

We opted for the evening meal - local/home grown products - very nice.  We shared a large table with the other guests - which were great company.  We sat chatting for the rest of the evening.  The drinks and food were very reasonably priced and we felt great value for money.

The breakfast was well put together - including local specialities and home made yogurt.

Generally, you got the feeling that Michelle and Clemont has everything well organised and wanted to make your stay enjoyable.  We'll definitely be back - Thanks.
