We stayed 2 nights.  Near train station by short walk. Within blocks of old city. Room space small but clean. Was allowed later checkout no prob, and clerk even carried our heaviest bag up 4 small flights. In-house breakfast, although we did not partake. Midrange and was reasonably quiet and comfy. Bed nice but a bit small for this sizable American.

This hotel is what we expected a typical French Hotel to be like from the building itself to the room on the first floor with opening windows to the street.  It was in a fairly quiet street so we had a good nights sleep and it was clean and comfortable.  We were lucky to find a park right outside the hotel otherwise you have to pay at a meter during the day.  The down side was that the hotel does not open until 4:30pm so we had to wait around for some time, have not come across this any where in our travels around the world.  Also the breakfast was not great and was not value for money.  The person at the desk did not speak English all that well but we survived.   Good location to the train station just a short walk up the street which would be helpful.

Hotel is still in renovation and is unique in its retrofitted layout of rooms.  2 nights on a great bed.  I didn't do anything else there.  It was midway between the train station and centre ville.  The grocery store around the corner was helpful.

Very pleasant hotel recently refurbished - very small personal service - nice proprieter - nice breakfast - parking a little tricky - really enjoyed our one night stay - great for walking into main sights - only 5 minutes.Would stay there again.

Nice Hotel - Just the dining room carpet missing!!

This is certainly not a luxury hotel; but that's reflected in the price.  For reasonably cheap accommodation, conveniently situated for the station, it's perfectly adequate.
I arrived earlier than the check-in time of 4:30, but unfortunately Reception was not manned.  So I had to carry my bag around with me all day.  (Fair enough; they do state that check-in time is from 4:30.)  
The member of staff on reception seemed a bit concerned that the family who had just arrived in front of me didn't speak French, as he clearly wasn't very confident in speaking English - but he did manage!  On the other hand, it was very nice to find someone who was happy to speak to me (fairly slowly and clearly) in French - and he was very helpful, friendly and polite.
My double room was perfectly comfortable and surprisingly spacious.  The shower was in the room (not in a separate bathroom), which was fine - the only problem was, it did leak quite badly, so I ended up with several pools of water on the wooden floor...
Bed was very comfortable - just a pity about the plastic mattress cover, as it was quite crackly and noisy.  Not a problem if you're sleeping alone, but might be if there are two of you!
The location of the hotel is convenient for the station, and is just off the main street.  The actual road the hotel is on isn't the nicest, but it's perfectly OK.  It's a little walk into town; this is fine during the day, but as a single female returning quite late at night (after watching 'La Nuit des Chimères') I did feel a little bit anxious, at it's away from the main tourist area.
Breakfast was adequate; everyone sits around a large round table in the Reception area and helps themselves.  The same member of staff was on duty, and was, again, pleasant and helpful.  The breakfast itself was OK (extra cost, not included in room rate) - but was mainly bread-based.  There was no cheese, cold meats, eggs etc.  So if you don't eat gluten, it's pretty much yoghurt and fruit!
I was able to leave my bag at the hotel after checking out, and could get back in to retrieve it later using the door code, which was very useful.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you want something relatively cheap but comfortable, in the beautiful town of Le Mans (which is definitely worth visiting).  It's certainly not luxury accommodation, but it doesn't pretend to be!
