Chambre d'hôte Manoir de Clairbois

This property is a lovely old private manoir with added rooms for guests. We had the family suite with a large double bed and in the sitting room two small sofa beds. All was renovated to high standard. A few things missing, but they are working on adding a closet for hanging clothes. Wifi worked fine for us, pool was really lovely and clean and the garden! The housekeeper we spoke with discreet but helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was continental with a yogurt. Secure parking on the grounds. If you have mobility problems, the family suite might not be the best choice as access is from a narrow wooden spiral staircase and the bathtub in bathroom is a sitdown affair and slightly hard to get in and out of. Would have preferred a shower stall. But not really a problem for us. This is not a hotel, but a private house with rooms. Everything was fabulous!
