Firstly the location is charming and so peaceful. If you need to unwind this is the place to do it. Uzes, nearby, is a charming Provencale type town but with maybe less tourists than some. OMG the Saturday market is fantastic. Uzes is about four miles away and the owners will provide a cheap taxi if necessary. Lots of restaurants there. We walked extensively around the area and the wild flowers in early June were something else. We saw the vines being cut back. The house itself is beautiful. Full of antiques. And as for the pool - gorgeous. Unheated but we swam in it happily in June. The pool/garden is like a five star hotel but all to yourself and delightful to come back to after walking and sight seeing. There is plenty to do in the area and the owners will guide you. What we liked a great deal was the nearby fabulous, good value restaurant called Table 2 Julien. All in all a very good experience. Prepare to unwind and relax.
