My car satnav could not find this place but Google Maps on my iPhone did. This is a wonderful place to stay. It is some distance outside of Langeais and down some very narrow roads but it is so tranquil staying here. Amelie is a perfect host and our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had our evening meal here. Amelie serves whatever has been prepared - there is no menu or carte, just a set meal and our meal was very good; what I would describe as good, farm style home cooking. We could not believe how quiet it was at Les Machetieres. We will certainly return.
