This was our last night's accommodation in a whirlwind European tour and by far the best accommodation of our entire trip. Really comfortable homely rooms full of welcoming touches and decorative flair: a drawer full of mugs, coffees and teas, a 'Jacuzzi' shower, a giraffe on the loo seat. Plus a host who couldn't do enough for us - and all at the heart of a friendly small town (with a fab pizzeria on the corner by the hotel). Never again will we stay in a soulless Ibis on our way to/from Le Shuttle. We will head instead for Frederick's lovely Chambres d'Hotes Vivrah!
