We stayed for 3 nights at the Best Western Cargo Hotel in a superior room at the members rate. We booked on short notice and it was great value for money - large room, comfy bed, nice shower. Good selection for breakfast, and really wonderful, helpful staff! I especially want to highlight the friendliness of all the local people we met. We had a small incident where we were woken up by a call from reception around 7 am as we had accidentally parked our car in a place where they were setting up the market. Instead of towing our car, police went to the hotel and asked for the owners, giving us the opportunity to just move the car and avoid a fine. Both hotel staff and police were super friendly about it! If we come back to Dunkirk, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
