The hotel is somewhat down at heel, but that was made up for by the lovely friendly and helpful staff. The meal in the grill was basic but satisfying and not hugely expensive. The grill was very popular and there were even a number of locals and regulars in the restaurant. Towels were clean and soap was also provided. Not an expensive hotel, but we still enjoyed ourselves in Domfront after a long drive up from the south. The hotel was very handily situated for a trip into the stunning mediaeval city.
