We've just returned from a one night stay at Le Manoir with friends and would thoroughly recommend it. They booked us golf at a discounted rate and dealt promptly with our enquiries. The reception staff are probably the best I have encountered in any hotel I have stayed in. We were badly let down by the taxi we arranged to pick us up from town in the evening after a meal out. It was 10pm, raining very heavily and one of our party had recently injured his foot, so the thought of a 40 minute walk in the dark was not popular! The bar/restaurant we were in tried, but were unable to find us an alternative taxi ... (apparently there are only 4 in the area so beware!) In desperation I called the hotel and they were amazing and went off,made some calls and sorted out someone to pick us up. I cant praise them highly enough. The hotel itself is also spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. You won't be disappointed. Well done Le Manoir, we will be back.
