Château La Barge

Perfect starting point for daily trips around the Périgord, we spent 3 nights in this very well located place. We occupied 2 bedrooms "Ponceau" and "Lavande". Beds are very confortable (the one at Lavande is extra large) and there is plenty of space in the rooms. Interior decoration as always is a matter of taste and here it is kept rather neutral, which is good. Breakfast is phantastic!! Very complete and much better than in many hotels. The bred cooked by Mr. de V. is "a pure merveille" while Mrs de V. provided us a very good diner. Don't miss her homemade marmelades! Wifi access is ok but depends on which part of the house you try to connect.. All this for a very reasonable price. Both owners work very hard to keep on renovating this place and to make their guests feel confortable. No doubt that in a near future, following this way and thanks to their determination to improve things, they will reach "excellent" quotations in Trip Advisors. Thank you Mr J, & Mrs P, it was very nice meeting you and you made our first experience of B&B a good one!. PS: For those who are interested, there is an outdoor swiming pool! i
