U Casone

My wife & I stayed here for our last evening in Corsica as its a short drive to the airport. The owner met us at the door and gave us a tour and choice of rooms, all extremely tastefully decorated, and each with its own character. We chose one with a view down the valley. A superb walk in shower and soft white towels, bliss. Very comfortable beds with superb quality linen ensured we had a extremely comfortable rest followed by a buffet breakfast downstairs. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the view. Unfortunately the one restaurant in the village had closed so you need to travel further afield for a meal, but there is a very small bar just down the street. Definitely a great place for a stop over on the way to the airport
