We stayed there for 1 night visiting the Cognac region. The lady is a fantastic host and the accommodation is central and has a lot of charm. She also provided us with great directions and the breakfast was to die for!

I would definitely recommend it!

What a lovely, lovely place Maison Gaudin is. We were in room 3 overlooking the pool/courtyard and it was just beautiful. The family who run this B&B are charming. It’s located perfectly within Cognac old town. Some great little places to eat a stones throw away and the river and Cognac houses all within a short walk. 

The house is old, chic, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed 3 relaxing days there although most guests seemed to be overnight travelers passing through Cognac. That’s a bit of a shame as Cognac is charming in its own right. 

We stayed for several nights in this B&B situated in the quiet old town. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was huge (with a tiny shower). We had every comfort in the room including tea/coffee making equipment and a “proper” table and easy chairs. There is a charming courtyard with a swimming pool for relaxing in good weather – surprising for a town house. Breakfasts were excellent with home-made jams, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee. Garage parking is available at a moderate cost near the premises.

Staying here was an absolute joy.  The accommodation was first class and the host could not do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay.  The property is centrally and very conveniently located near the town centre and major sights.  We were treated to an excellent breakfast in lovely surroundings.

We booked this place well in advance, fortunately - as we were unaware of the annual Blues Festival, and were not disappointed.
For a quiet area of the town, this is a huge house and all the rooms are spacious. You are literally minutes from everywhere in town and there is also parking nearby and a pool in the garden.
The bedroom we had, was huge, as was the bathroom, but bizarrely the shower was tiny and anyone over 5'10 may struggle!
That said, the rooms have everything you need and we will definitely stay again.
Our host was really helpful and provided great local knowledge and a really decent breakfast.
This really is a great place to stay.
