Maison D'Hôtes Du Théâtre

I had a very pleasant stay here in the center of Douai. The host is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are situated in a very beautiful old house, fully renovated and in excellent and charming condition. Rooms are with wooden floor with double bed and a small table in the corner (here I missed a light to be able to work better). Bathroom in brand new and in excellent condition. Internet connection very fast and good. Good sleep, as bed was very good and the garden behind the house is very beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was fresh with fruit and very lovely choice of bread. A place to stay for people that do not like the typical hotel chains and are looking for a place a little more charming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend this place to any kind of traveller. The theatre of Douai is just next door, the belfry is less than 5 minutes walk.
