Hotel Bertrand is a budget friendly place to put your head down with great staff, thats why it gets 5 stars for me. You get what you pay for and for us it was worth it. The food was great. The rooms dated but spacious and teh beds comfy. A fixed menu at 20 Euro we had plenty to eat - our breakfast was included in the price too - simple but good enough. The rooms are what they are for the money - the staff were so accomodating I would definetely go back if passing and needed somewhere to stay. Don't go out of your way to stay here, but if you are in Bar le Duc, it's certainly do-able.
