We were some members of my family on a trip to Olavinlinna and Lusto and we found this nice modest hotel in Rantasalmi. We stayed for 2 days and we liked it. It is maybe not of so high standard, but it was very nice. It is more like a motel than a hotel with its low buildings. The host was very friendly and told us the story behind the strange name of the hotel. The rooms were nice, but the bathroom had no shell for "toiletthings". The breakfast was good.
