Hotelli Pikku-Syöte

The hotel is located on the top of a hill with really wonderful view in the landscape. The rooms are comfortable, only it is a bit a pity that the restaurant closes early in the evening so that you need to take your own food with you. The breakfast buffet however is very nice. All in all recommendable.

I didn't stay at the hotel but cottage near by, but I visited here for lunch/dinner couple of times. Service was excelent and faultless, even though summer menu was squeezed to sautéed reindeer, which was amaizing and dish size was huge.

It was a last minute reservation on 24th Dec When we were worried we wont get a room. Rooms were clean comfortable and price economical. Breakfast was good. Ski place very close. Snow mobile outside. Children play area if u visit in summer. Good experience.

Wonderful place with great view on the mountain scenery

Summer stay near Hotel Pikku-Syöte

Last minute destination

This is convinient for those who want to ski straight to hotel door from hills.
You can come straight from hill and take your equipment to locked storageroom over night.
So you dont need to go by car if you have purchased elevator tickects already earlier.

We had room with view and jacuzzi, including also dinners, elevator tickets and breakfasts for four person.

If you need to rent equipment, then go down by car ant there is renting and coffeehouse.

Breakfast was good and basic hotel breakfast.

Atmosphere is little old but everything was working perfect and service was good.

I liked peaceful feeling here. This is maybe not so crowded place than Iso-Syöte.

If you like downhill ski'ing

Hienot maisemat hotellista, varsinkin jos saa huoneen rinteen puolelta hotellin uudesta osasta.

Siivous ei kuulu automaattisesti palveluihin, vaan siitä täytyy erikseen ilmoittaa laittamalla lappu huoneen oveen. Siitä huolimatta joka päivä ei huonettamme siivottu.

Aamiaisella piti itse siivota pöydät ja palauttaa käytetyt astiat. Henkilökunta ei vaivautunut pöytiä siivoamaan. Illalla a la carte ravintolassa aikamme palvelua odotettuamme tilattiin kassalta ruuat. Siihen myös maksettiin. Tarjoilija sentään toi ruuat pöytään.

Vähän oli retkeilymajatunnelma paikassa, joka kutsuu itseään hotelliksi.

 

Great views from the hotel room, especially if you get a room facing the slopes from the new part of the hotel.

Cleaning is not included in the service, but you have to inform the housekeeping staff about it by tagging the room with the sign. Even then we did not get our room cleaned every day.

At breakfast you had to clean the table and bring the used dishes back. The staff were not bothered to clean the tables. In the evening in the a la carte restaurant we waited at the table for service and finally went to the counter to order some food. At least the dinner was then brought to the table by a waitress.

It was a bit like staying in a hostel, even though it is called a hotel.

If you want nice and modern suite rooms in reasonable price and views this is a good choice. BUT the service is everytime terrible, you really are not welcome, if they make mistakes dont wait apologies, it is your fault. I travel a lot, this is the worst hotel in service level for me in decades.
