It is a little out of the way and you will need a car. You also have to keep in mind that it is a ski resort and if you go in the Summer you will be there in the off season so it will be a little slower. But the place is great. 30 minutes from Tampere by car. Things like Sauna or bike rental will cost you but keep in mind that for the price of $419.00 for a week in Finland that is a drop in the bucket. I would go back any time. My 14 year old daughter also loved it. Great way to enjoy the midnight sun on one of their docks on the lake.
