26 reviewsWe visited Rantalinna just for one night. In May it was very quiet, we were almost the only guests at the hotel, so the atmosphere was very peaceful. The staff was friendly, but they are not there all the time so that is something to keep in mind. If you want to have dinner, it has to be ordered in beforehand, and also breakfast orders were made the previous evening. Since there weren't many guests we were given a tour of three different rooms that we got to choose from. The rooms are decorated a bit differently and sizes vary, but they are all beautifully renovated in a way that respects the history of the building. Linens and towels were by a respected Finnish brand and looked brand new. For us, breakfast was included in the price and it was served in a nice breakfast room/dining hall. The food was delicious and it was quite a luxurious experience. All in all, I would definitely recommend Rantalinna to people traveling in the area, or even as a destination for a relaxing weekend trip.
