To get to Qamea Island, you can get a flight from Nadi International Airport to Taveuni Island. Once you have arrived at Taveuni’s airport, transfers to Maqai Beach Eco Resort are available for FJD $50 per person each way. Alternatively, from Nadi Airport you can make your own way to Walu Bay in the capital city of Suva and then get a ferry to Taveuni Island. Ferries (SOFI or Lomaiviti Princess) depart on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. This is an overnight journey and prices are approximately FJD $60-70 per person. Once you have arrived at Taveuni’s wharf, transfers to Maqai Beach Eco Resort are available for FJD $60 per person each way. Please let Maqai Beach Eco Resort know your expected arrival time and method of arrival in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. There is a compulsory meal plan provided to guests at FJD $60 per person per day (FJD $50 for vegetarian option) and FJD $40 for guests aged 15 years and under. Please notify Maqai Beach Eco Resort if there are any special dietary requirements to be catered for. |
