We have just come back from a week here and I couldn’t fault the place. The rooms are basic but comfortable and spacious. There are 2 pools, we opted for the smaller and quieter one during our stay and used it throughout the week, Ahmed the lifeguard was especially helpful and pleasant to chat to, he happily assisted with finding sunbeds and placing/moving the umbrellas throughout the day to provide better shade, nothing was too much trouble for him. The pool bars were good but didn’t always serve drinks with ice so the drinks could be a bit on the warm side. The restaurant is large and spacious and we were always able to find something to eat and drink. Staff in the restaurant were always pleasant and polite and considering the staff were so busy, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant manager was particularly nice and always on hand to assist if needed and checking that everything was okay. Our room cleaner was also fab and did a vast array of imaginative designs using our towels each day! The barman at the lobby bar was also fab, very friendly and again nothing was too much trouble. The security guys on the front door/gate were also friendly and helpful when chatting to them. I also used the onsite pharmacy and was pleased with both the service and the price of the cream I bought to soothe mosquito bites.Overall a very pleasant experience for our first time in Egypt and we will definitely return. The hotel is a short distance from naama bay and is also situated a few doors from a shopping mall.
