Me and my travelling group visited the spa/restaurant for lunch and after lunch relaxing.
The best part was the chilean steam treatment done by Marco from the wellness area. Marco was really nice, and the treatment was really relaxing and fun to experience.
I would definitely get it done again, if It get close to the area. Highly recommended and really nice staff.

We were a group of sixteen travelers from Canada, and had lunch at this really quirky hotel. I had the vegetable soup starters, and it is definitely one of the best soups that I have ever had-it could have met my whole lunch requirement! I then had the breaded shrimp, which were also delicious. My wife had the grilled trout with vegetables, also wonderful. We both had salads with our meal. Cristina was our server, and she was very courteous and efficient. Also had a great chat with the manager, Juan Chauvin, who told me about the hotel layout. Looks like a great place to stay-it is absolutely a terrific place to eat! Worth a visit.

The whimsical architectural aesthetic may be worth the visit but the inner courtyard filled with orchids and fruits is dazzling as well.  Seemingly designed by the resident artists/owners, all the rooms and public spaces are a delight.  Lovely, richly colored murals abound as do sidewalk mosaics of equally colorful interest.   Rooms are large and comfortable and clean.   Saving the best for last, it may be worth the trip (or vaux le voyage as la Guide would say) is the breakfast.   They make their own granola, strawberry marmalade, yogurt, butter and several sourdough breads.  Eggs are cooked to perfection as well.  Fresh juice and fruit are, as everywhere in Ecuador, offered.
And, as a bonus, the ions from the roaring river alongside and the dense vegetation's oxygenation make it a perfect place to sooth your lungs.

This is a must in Banos. This place is quirky, eclectic and calming. The food is probably the best we have had in Ecuador (we have been here dor 7 days). It is a family run establishment and the food is fresh from farm to table. We ordered veg soup, trout, and avocado with chicken. The family is so nice and gracious! 

The staff made the stay with them 10X better. We used to live in Banos and came back with our children and friends, so didn't want to stay in downtown Banos, so this was a great alternative for us, right on the Rio Verde with views from our room (which was huge) and had Netflix on the TV. Just amazing food and service!

We stayed for the day to take advantage of the relaxing pools, spa, and massage.  The hotel is beautiful and filled with art and lush plants.  The staff is very friendly and accomodating.  The owners are very nice and patient with guest questions.  The food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious.  The rooms were spectactular with beautiful views of the mountains and river.  Close to Pailon del Diablo.  Highly recommend.

This place offers not only nice rooms and confy beds, but great food but unique attention that let you feel at home. My mom and my aunt got a great massage whilts we went for a great short trekking to the famous wonderful Waterfall PAILON DEL DIABLO.... incredibily nice!!! 

My family of 6 stayed here for three nights. Don Manuel and the staff were great. The facility itself is outstanding. It’s located several miles outside of the hustle and bustle of Baños so it’s much more peaceful and tranquil. The family is decorated in a funky colorful style that suits the area. The walls are covered in art and color. There is a hot tub and small indoor pool that we enjoyed after being out all day. The included breakfast was fabulous and the coffee was outstanding. We highly recommend Miramelindos Hostería and Spa.

The most amazing food! We stopped here twice, 2 very different and equally delicious meals. The best cup of coffee I have had in Ecuador. Very friendly and kind staff, walked around and looked into the rooms, beautiful and spacious. Planning my trip back so I can stay!

We went there (just to) eat and we enjoyed it very very much. 

The dish of trout was good as well as the cow meat.

The best dish was clearly the shrimp 'el la plancha' it was amazing!

We did not try the hotel but it seemed good.

Had lunch here after visiting the Pailon  de Diabalo waterfall in Banos.

I ordered the quinoa creamy rice with vegetables, and it was delicious. A nice place to eat and  relax after the hike down to the waterfall and back up. It's a 5 minute drive from the fall and worth a try.

The room was spacious for Ecuador as many of the hotels are on the smaller side.  The gardens and main lobby were gorgeous and the pool area was excellent.  Only small complain was a rotted floor board in the room which was a little hazardous when walking in the dark.  The room was clean and the staff was excellent and very friendly!  The location is within walking distance of the Diablo water fall and the river is right next to the hotel with a gorgeous view.  I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Great Lodge Outside Of Baños

I can honestly say staying at the Miramelindo Spa Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The hotel as a whole has a beautiful design to it. There are numerous paintings on display that were personally done by the owner. The rooms are clean and each room has a beautiful, unique feel to them. The food is also amazing and the management/staff is friendly and very helpful. There is even a “mini Amazon” that you can walk through in the hotel that has beautiful flowers and fruits growing right in front of you! It is perfect walking distance from many local attractions and a short bus ride away from the center city of Baños. I highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to my next stay!
