Nice little hotel with very very comfortable beds, your sleep there is guaranteed!

The bread rolls for breakfast are the best of Ecuador, the jam is home made and the staff makes its best in order to accomplish guest's happiness. 

If we go back to Banos, we will definitely stay there again with no hesitation!

Hernan is the man in charge of serving the guests, he is the best!

Comfortable, bright, clean hotel.  Beautiful garden area outside and table and chairs to relax on.  Enjoyed my stay here and would go back should I visit Banos again.  They will do your laundry and breakfast is available.

The room was pleasant and comfortable.
The hotel was close to town.
Breakfast was excellent.  Fresh juice, fruits, eggs and bread and pastries.
Service was good and the staff friendly.

No problems with the other guests. Friendly owner. Excellent breakfast, especially the fruit juices. Many of the top attractions in Banos are right at your doorstep, including access to the hot springs, abundant walking trails up the mountainside, and the historical square area!

This is a no frills little motel that had the nicest staff.  The holiday pricing for us was $36.00 per night about twice their usual rate.  We had a clean private room.  Parking is a bit dodgy but secure.

The breakfast was wonderful way better than the $200-400 Luna Runtun.  Restaurant was good and they have added an ice cream parlor on the front motel.  

The biggest negative is the noise.  The dinosaur park is across the street.  So T-rexes are roaring all day long.  There used to be a park across the street that is now a big construction site so the neighborhood is changing check the newest reviews for updates. 

I highly recommend Villa Santa Clara.

I shared a double room for two nights and enjoyed my stay very much. Dona Rita secured a walking stick for me and gave me some helpful massage recommendations for my sore back. The breakfast was very good, and my laundry was returned to me the next day as promised. The hotel is a few minutes away from the thermal baths and the downtown area. I felt comfortable finding my way back to the hotel after the thermal baths closed for the evening.
