From the outside more unimpressive than a lot of other hostels but from the inside really convincing. The whole building is rustical and super charming. Ceilings are full of art work.
The rooms are huge and good equipped. Staff is relaxed and super friendly.
You can climb on top of the roof to get a great view from Quito and the mountains.
It's not a typical party - young aged guests - backpacker hostel but this is exactly what we wanted.
The location was perfect, you are close to the beautiful historical old town and a lot of restaurants, bars and what else you could need.

Insider tip

When we arrived in Quito in early June, we came back two months later before leaving, and we loved each time! The owner welcomed us like a mother and took care that we didn't lack anything! The staff are also very friendly.

On the ground in Quito

Very nice hostel. The time I have visited, it was very quiet and felt very save. Even I didn't enjoy Quito streets, this place felt really nice. Family is very friendly,  very welcoming and super helpful. Comfortable bed. Bathroom had a hot water. Highly recommend.

Quiet and very welcoming place

We spent 2 nights in this hostel, we were the only ones (calm season at this time) so we had a room of 6 for us 2 with private bathroom. Room + bathroom very convenient we had space and storage available. Common space + outdoor space super. We even got to watch a movie in the common room on the big screen with the Hostel volunteer.

Very friendly and helpful people!
Quiet and peaceful place in the midst of Quito, I always liked to chat with staff as well as other guests. I always found advice in getting round the city and out of it, and I was helpd with various organisational struggles to get my trip in Ecuador rolling.

Good people, nice rooftop!

is the perfect place to be like "a human person". In effect you have a lot of people who offer to you their heard, thinking, times, and capacity to answer at all your questions. It's big luck! because at the place you will never lost, the street are friendly, the shop know where you come and how you need and give you good answer, all that in the perfect secure. For finish it's very quiet, but you can easy organize barbecue or party with the Younger and voluntary team.

very good human experience

The staff is very friendly and recommended us some good tips for the city. The room was clean. The breakfast was changing every morning and really delicious. The rooftop with the view of the Basilika and the mountains was amazing.

Warm welcome and amazing rooftop

The staff is really very nice and the hotel is at an acceptable quality/price level. But in three days no maintenance of the common bathroom, the almost non-existent wifi networks (for a really dismal capital) Hotel is rather gloomy and deserted or all the floors and doors cracked and creaky.

Not too bad.

Great Hostel, in really good location nearly of central old city. The staff was so amazing, helpful and made my stayed really comfortable. They prepared a special breakfast at 5:30am just because I had a trip arranged at 6. The blankets are comfortable, and clean bathroom. Totally recommend!

Amazing Staff

We stayed two days in this hotel in Quito, advised by several guides. The reception is in French, a young man has been working there for 6 months, he is quite friendly. The common parts are charming, but the wedding room we had didn't break three legs to a duck. ok there is a courthouse, ok c is high ceiling, but there is no closet, no place to put his clothes.:-/ After a few hours of walking, we just wanted to take a shower... at the super cold water!:-s The Frenchman assures us that his French is fine! It makes me a beautiful leg! The hot water will only come the next day (they made me a price for this incident: 2 dollars, I insisted because I had to finish half of my clothes), but I didn't want to leave me alone.
