We stayed at this hostel around New Years, and could not be happier with our decision. Although it was a bit more expensive than we are used to, so are most accommodations in this beach town. It is located so close to the beach that you can hear the waves, but it is just far enough from the main town that you can get a good night's sleep. Be aware that Montanita is extremely loud at night, and you may want to find accommodation that is a little outside of the main area. The hostel itself was very clean, and our private room was comfortable and spacious. Overall, we were incredible happy with our stay.
